TAU-100 Fingerprint Clocking System with Software
 The
TAU-100 is an affordable entry level fingerprint time and attendance
system. The fingerprint technology used in this clock is the same we use
in all of our clocks so you can rest assured that you are getting one
the worlds best biometric technologies available today. With a False
Acceptance Rate (FAR) of 0.0001%.
The TAU-100
embedded software inside the clock is built on a Linux platform for reliability and functionality. The
clock can be removed from the desk stand and mounted onto the wall
easily via 3 fixing holes.
Communication
to the TAU-100 is USB only and is supplied with a 1 metre USB cable,
longer cables and extension drivers are available upon request. The
TAU-100 also has the advantage of having a built in battery backup
keeping the clock operational for around 60 minutes in the event of
a power failure.
Two function buttons
'IN and 'OUT' enable easy switching for employees to clock in and
out.
All users
are enrolled easily into the TAU-100 under the built in menu system.
Once this is done the fingerprint is stored in the clock memory. The
TAU-100 has the capacity to store 1500 Fingerprints. The internal
memory also stores all the clocking transactions the TAU-100 can
store up to 32000 individual transactions meaning that the PC does
not have to be connected permanently.
The menu systems
easy to use and allows for fingerprint enrolment, setting the date
and time (this can also be done from the PC) the ability to setup
PIN numbers for each employee is also possible this can be used as a
backup in case employees are having trouble using the fingerprint
scanner.
The software that is
supplied free of charge with the clock is extremely easy to use and
generates simple time card reports displaying clocked time,
time onsite, leaving early, arriving late and absent days. You can
manually enter clocking's into the software if employees have
forgotten to clock. If employees are off sick, on holiday or out on
business this can also be entered into the software so when the
report is generated accurate information on employees attendance is
presented to the operator.
Three report option
are available within the software these are a daily report this
reports shows the activity for each employee between selected dates.
The second report is a general report this does not show the actual
clocking times for the employees but just gives an overall how many
days attended, how many absent, how many late, etc again this report
is between selected dates. The final report allows you to export all
of the clocking information into a predefined excel spreadsheet between
the selected dates.
